Under the leadership of Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management is facing massive reforms and Mission Basundhara is one of those reforms. To streamline and solve land revenue services and make them more accessible to citizens, Mission Basundhara was conceptualized under the leadership of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Assam. Through this mission, the Government of Assam has endeavoured to provide better service to the citizens and make the process hassle-free.
